6N/7D Meghalaya Adventure Tour with
On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station meet by our driver & visit Kamakhya Temple,
Then proceed for Shillong (4,900 ft.), called 'Scotland of the East". Enroute visit Umium Lake, a
majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. On arrival at Shillong, check in to hotel.
Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Shillong.
you will visit india's most magical waterfall - krang suri & Phi Phi Water falls Meghalaya. a
moment ofsilence to acknowledge how beautiful this waterfall is! Later drive to tryshi waterfalls, a bridge
connects the waterfall's surroundings with an expanse of green paddy fields. a breathtaking
panoramic view of the pynthor nein is visible from the bridge. next you will stop at Laitlum
Canyon then visit thadlaskein lake where you can enjoy boating. afternoon proceed to the
nartiang menhir measure 27 feet in height above the ground, 6 feet in breadth and 2 feet 6
inches in thickness. the monoliths represent the megalithic culture of the hynniewtrep people.
a 500 years old temple of durga isanother attraction at nartiang. evening back to Dawki.
Overnight stay at Dawki.
Post breakfast drive to explore Mawlynong, visit Living root bridge and Mawlynnong Village
Asia's cleanest village. The residents literally farm on the edges of these mist shrouded cliffs
that plunge sharply into the valley, later drive to Dawki, visit Umngot river & Boating popular
for clean water, and local sightseeing at Dawki. Also visit the Bangladesh border. Night stay
at Dawki.
The Bamboo trek starts from a Wahken Village, which lies in the Pynursla Tehsil of East Khasi
Hills in Meghalaya. The Villagers themselves prepare the bamboo bridge in a way that
bamboos tied with cane ropes give a sturdy enough pathway to walk on . Than drive back
towards Cherrapunjee . En route visit Garden Of Caves. Also Visit Arwah Cave. Overnight at
Cherrapunjee.
Early morning head to Tyrna village, a 1⁄2 hr drive away from
Cherrapunji. From there it will take a relaxed 1.5 hr walk down to the Nongriat Village and then
a 2hr walk up to reach double decker Root Bridge. The path to the double-decker root bridge is
3 Kilometers long and has around 3,500 stairs, and descends 2,400 feet. Another 1 hour of trek
approx. 3 km from double decker bridge to visit beautiful and scenic Rainbow falls. Post activity
trek back to Tyrna village and later drive to Shillong. Night stay at Cherrapunji.
Post breakfast in the morning; hit the road to Cherrapunjee, the heaviest rainfall destination in the world -Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves. At Cherrapunjee visit Nohkalikai falls, being the world’sfourth tallest waterfall, visit Eco park, Seven Sisterfalls and Mawsmai cave.Then take transfer to Shillong on the way in Mawkdok Dympep Valley you can do Zip Lining then taketransfer to Shillong .Night Stay at Shillong
